Beautiful clarity in a bookshelf.
Wired up within 10 mins of getting back, tried Plan B Strickland Banks on CD and heard sounds I'd not clocked before in the car via USB or on the HI-FI. Then tried Gordon Giltrap on vinyl, again excellent. More bass than my old speakers but on a positive level as not intrusive; as is usual with good quality speakers you don't have to whack up the volume to get (or lose) clarity. Would thoroughly recommend. This review is based on use in quite a small room which the speakers fill without being directional to the nth degree. System: NAD 3130 Amp, NAD 4245 CD, NAD C440 Tuner.
Cosmetically very well finished and will grace most rooms as they ouze UK class. Only downside (for some) is the Made in China sticker on the back next to the Union Jack! Just remember the money comes back to the UK via the company and the design team.
