It's a fine, little, & quiet CPU cooler.
It's a fine, little, & quiet CPU cooler. But it's not up to cooling my AMD FX-8120 six-core processor. My error in choosing this cooler without checking its capacity in TDP watts. My processor is rated at 125 watts and it's just too much heat for the little cooler. I have a properly-calibrated cooler coming to replace this and then plan to sell this little one.

2 of 2 found this helpful That this product combines the flashing function in the "bulb" itself makes this choice easy. Just pull out your original 7443 bulb and plug this one in and you're done!
The only caveat is that if you are replacing an incandescent bulb (one with a glass bulb and a filament) AND your car has a CANbus electrical system, you will very likely need to put an "error-correcting" load resistor in parallel with the new LED light; otherwise you might get a fault in the CANbus system.
Eventually, these may need to be made the law for new cars; but for now this item is so rarely used that it definitely makes a difference in making other drivers pay attention.
The only other caveat to this item is that a light on a vehicle that is not required, is actually illegal. However, I seriously doubt that any law enforcement officer will pull you over for this because it's a great safety device.
