Good, but a little expensive for what they are.

The mud guards will stop some spray and particulate kicked-up by the tyres from being deposited on the sides of the car, but they cover a rather small area so their performance is somewhat limited.

Inexpensive route to a replacement key fob

I purchased this item because my original key fob casing had become damaged and the key blade flip mechanism no longer functioned. After purchasing the item, I used a small punch to remove the roll-pin securing both the blank blade on this item, as well as the blade on my original fob. I then transplanted my original key blade onto this fob, re-inserted with my original roll-pin and swapped the PCB with battery, switches and transponder over to this unit. Resultantly, I now have a mechanically-sound keyfob and working key flip mechanism for literally a minute fraction of the cost of a genuine replacement (albeit a slightly poorer, but more than acceptable, quality).
