Darling bag and so cute
After you get your pattern pieces cut out. Quilt your fabric pieces. Quilt zipper section, sides and bottom with lining fabric on bottom. The body you can use scrap fabric. It wont show. You sandwich your fashion fabric. Lining and batting needs to be just a little larger than your fashion fabric. When you have the pieces all quilted (I use the diamond design) Press, the lining side first, then the outside side. Trim off the excess batting. Sew your pieces as directed. When you have the zipper and sides sewn on the body. ( the side pieces are about 1.5 " too long, trim them off) "Sew the inside pockets to the lining fabric first." Here is how to cover all those raw seams. Push down the zipper section with the sides, with right side facing down pin the lining fabric to the body. Sew around 1/4" seam allowance. Turn out, the raw edges are gone. Do the same thing on the other side. This may take practice, but it will add luxury to your bag, and make it a lot easier to make.
This pattern is workable, and so cute. Happy sewing everybody
