Wonderful movie
I wanted to purchase this movie because the life of director Edward D. Wood Jr. (Edd Wood) interests me a lot and, Tim Burton, who also shares this interest, had a very particular way to portray Edd's life and view on the world on this lovely film.
Edd Wood Jr. was considered the worst movie director in history but today he is recognized in the world of Classic B-movie lovers. His unique perspective, passion for cinema, strong will and misfortunes in life, combined in several sui-generis films (Plan 9 from outer space, Glen or Glenda, etc). Tim Burton captured the ambiences and essences in Edd's films very well and so, this movie, "Edd Wood", is perfect in picturing what Edward Wood Jr. was and did (so that we can appreciate what he tried to do in stead of judging what defines a good movie and a bad movie, without really knowing much about the subject we are judging).
