One of the Three Best Gardening Tools.

This tool - the mini pick axe with fibre glass handle is a must for all serious gardeners. The same applies to its sister tool, the mini mattock. On the mini pick axe the point is most useful for weeding in gravel or on hardened allotment paths, etc especially in dealing with buttercup root 'crowns', which are so pervasive . The mattock end is useful in loosening packed earth borders, and also for general weeding. BUY BOTH, ( the mini pickaxe and the mini mattock. ) For shrub and major root removal, a full size mattock with a fibreglass handle should also be purchased.

A useful large scale small-size map - just right for cyclists.

These maps are the most handy size for cyclists. They are no longer printed in that smaller size but they should be. I am now looking for no. 532, Bewcastle, Stapleton and Catlowdy.

Reliable & versatile for fixing lists

Useful for clipping the shopping lists to the kitchen wall. I fixed a couple of steel washers to the wall with Araldite, grasped the lists on to the bulldog clips and put magnets against the washers. So convenient !
