Would give 5 stars if it picked up fluff on long pile carpets

I bought this just before moving house so I've really put it through its paces. It's brilliant on hard floors, and it revolutionises cleaning the stairs. It's great for cleaning out weird spaces where you wouldn't normally use a hoover. I'm almost looking forward to cleaning the car interior with it! The downside is carpets. On carpets with pile, it just doesn't cut the mustard. It can't pick up fluff and it doesn't bring up flattened pile, not even in boost mode. There's a pile free carpet in the new house, and it works ok on that. I bought it because there isn't space to store my old big Vax in the new house, and I like it so much otherwise that I'll ditch the carpet it doesn't work on, and replace it with laminate.
