Excellent quality paperback book.
Although a paperback, this book has a lovely quality about it. The picture plates are colourful and clear showing the detail of Kurt Jackson's work. I love the whole sense of 'Place' and the different atmospheres evoked in each place visited. It is interesting to read Kurt Jackson's account of the measures taken to complete each work and some of the difficulties encountered, especially in places such as wind swept beaches and moorlands. As well as the beautiful photographs of his paintings it is also a very interesting read.

Great Little Book
This book is packed with information and ideas for being creative with acrylic paints and inks. It is very well illustrated and makes a good quick reference book. Excellent if you are stuck for ideas and have a blank canvas. It really encourages you to be bold with colour and teaches about colour mixing on and off the canvas. Good value for money.
