It's boat primer
1 of 1 found this helpful Primer to use underwater or as a barrier coat between antifouling. No one stocks it round here so I've been buying it on eBay. It's good stuff and sticks firmly to my old wooden boats, what more can you say?

Needed a mod to make it fit
This fan was not a direct replacement for the original. The fan and motor are correct but the casing is clearly generic and had to be cut to allow it to fit. Additional holes had to be drilled to suit, also. Once hooked up it runs fine but it’s very cheaply made.

Photograph is misleading
The mounts as supplied are non-branded and are presumably not genuine 3M since they are plain red in colour and do not carry any lettering or logo. However they were cheap and seem to work OK.
