DCC Alignment Dowell Starter Kit Review

DCC alignment dowells were of good quality and did the job that they were intended for. However the quality of the 13mm and 19mm wood drill bits was questionable. You may be better buying good quality drills separately. The 3 mm pilot drill that was included in the starter kit was a masonry drill bit which was of no use whatsoever. Masonry drills as we all know do not work very well in wood. Recommendation - Buy the alignment dowells separately and source the wood drills from elsewhere, ie., at a good hardware store.
