Jury is still out
0 of 1 found this helpful The VHS part works but not the mini-DV part (it eats the tape) which was my primary reason for buying the machine. Finding someone to repair the unit has been difficult, therefore, no answers as to quality construction, image quality or recommendation.
Don't know as I have not been able to use it yet.
