Japanese Version Has English Option
Yes, indeed. The Japanese Super Famicom version of Super Metroid can be fully played natively in English because the game itself has a toggle in one of the first few menus. I didn't even know this, so I was very happily surprised, not that reading is a big part of the game, which was one of the reasons I elected to purchase this for my fledgling Super Famicom collection.

A green tint, when it works
1 of 1 found this helpful If this works, which is a toss-up, there is a slight green tint to the entire picture. Sometimes, the video will not work at all, and I'll only get audio. I tested two SCART cables, and deemed that the problem was this converter-box, and not the cables themselves.
