COLEMAN COMPANY 5-Ft. High-Pressure Hose & Adapter

Bang! for your buck$

Purchased for the sole use of reducing cost on our camping trips. We have a Coleman Fyrechampion double stove. The small Coleman fuel canisters intended for it are expensive at around £9 for 465g of propane. This high pressure hose allows you to connect a standard propane bottle to the stove and, over time will significantly save you money. However, the hose is not cheap or widely available in the UK. Easy to fit it does the job admirably and you are up and running in no time. A 19kg bottle of propane was delivered to my door for £30 which included the free bottle. It will take a while for the saving to be felt as the hose was about £34 including postage. That and the gas all adds up to a price of just over 7 of the small canisters. On the other hand my 19kg bottle would hold nearly 41! If space is not an issue for you, it's the only way to go! Enjoy
