Lives up to expectations
Very pleased with the short nodal rail, well made and nicely finished.
I was very impressed to discover the cross slide is calibrated as a vernier which increases the accuracy of the calibration X ten.
My only small gripe is the circular bullseye levels are not always accurate, I bought two 100mm nodal rails and one of the levels was slightly out. No big deal but they need checking if you intend to rely on the level.

Powerful with huge storage potential
This is the best Apple Mac I have owned, although it may be relatively old, it has formed a solid foundation for a stunningly quick computer.
It is currently running Mac OS 10.12 Sierra, faultlessly, so it's compatible with the latest OS's and likely to be well into the future.
I have loaded it with 32Gb RAM and several additional Hard Drives. The Geekbench score is now well over 14,000.
Running heavyweight software it hasn't had a single problem and it processes images very easily and quickly.
