Excellent wide angle that is cheaper than a Nikon equivalent lens.
I realize that this lens is discontinued. When I got the chance to purchase this at a very reasonable price, I jumped on it. Best deal I ever got on a 2.8 lens. A lot cheaper than Nikon, which is what I shoot. Bought this for low light situations, and have had excellent results. The only draw-back is the 82mm filter size. I got a really good deal on filters from Adorama. If you can find one in good shape--BUY IT. You will not be disappointed.

Best thing since sliced bread.
2 of 2 found this helpful I used to go thru 2 suet cakes a day. Now i use 2 suet cakes a week. No more starlings and no more grackles. thank God !! I am well satisfied.

Excellent Optics
Great for birding !! A great addition and helpful aid to my Nikon camera. Don't leave home without it.
