Interesting line-up, good cause , sleep-walking crowd!

Very strong line up on paper , a mini Live Aid , in practice like its predecessor its a mixed bag and alot will be down to personal taste. Well recorded if somewhat statically shot its a whos who of big names (McCartney,Elton,Clapton etc)but lacks atmosphere mainly because audience behave as though they are at a tea party rather than a rock show!. But worth it for Clapton alone who is really on fire

Welcome back Rick

After a very mixed 80s/90s Rick has found religion , and for him its worked. A big fan of his 70's output I approached this with no great expectations , and was very pleasantly surprised. His playing and that of the band is extremely tight and controlled. A guitar hero that knows what to play and what to leave out. Highly recommended.
