I'd love to tell you...

Best autobiography I've read so far - well worth buying.

Not usually bothered by autobiographies, but this is an exception. We love Guy Martin as a racer and as a presenter of mechanical/industrial/speed record tv programmes. He is treated as the new Fred Dibnah sometimes because he has the same devotion to all things mechanical & hard-working honesty of character. He isn't demonstrative, but you see his passion revealed in this simple telling of "how it was". Makes so much more sense than the easy media label slapped on him as the "maverick TT rider". He never does anything without a reason, even if he shortly realises it was a mistake! (Don't attempt his firework trick at home...)Read it virtually without stopping & already loaned it out to a friend, who read it in a weekend too.

Brilliant spin-off from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

We loved this series when we first saw it aired on the channel Syfy, eagerly awaited the new series and missed it when it finished. This is the tale of the ongoing additions to the secret Government warehouse, where the Ark recovered by Indiana Jones was lodged for safekeeping; artefacts with dangerous properties that are not safe to be allowed to remain out in the community. It is just sheer genius!
