surprisingly good quality and cheap theatre or kids' binoculars
I bought these little binoculars for a small boy who is interested in space, the sky, birds and science related things. It fits in an adult's palm, and it is of the right proportion for a little kid. So, it was a perfect present for him. He walks around (sometimes bumping into things) with the binoculars looking at everything with them in the garden and in the field: birds, airplanes, the sheep far away, etc . Even the parents liked these binoculars, because it is very well made with solid materials, good lenses. The focusing works very well. The feel of these little binoculars is like that of big normal size ones (I have two serious ones - one expensive astronomical kind - for comparison). Its magnification would just be fine for using it in a theatre. They are surprisingly cheap, but the quality is not cheap (not plasticky). The lenses are coated to improve vision. So, I would recommend these binoculars to be taken to the theatre in a lady's purse, or to be given to an interested child, who is a bit more intelligent than bashing everything.

excellent, dirt cheap versatile reader - both on Linux and Windows
I have an ancient Nikon Coolpix 775 camera, which uses the chunky big CF (compact flash) memory card. Normal cameras have mostly dropped this format (even though certain professional DSLRs still use CF cards because of some advantages). As this format is not commonly used by the average punter (I am an average punter), card readers you can get easily nowadays don't offer a slot to read CF cards.
So, I had and ancient CF card, and I was desperate to see what's on it (I am actually searching for some long lost photos), and I needed a reader that could still cope with a CF card.
That is when I found this excellent little reader. It was amazingly cheap: £4.50 (16 May 2022), and it was offered to be sent by free post, but there was also an option of paying an extra 50p for next day delivery. I paid the extra 50p (peanuts), and the whole thing cost me only £5.00 - and the reader arrived the next morning. I plugged it in, and it worked right away, and I could transfer the stuff off the card to my PC. I have even decided to resurrect my ancient camera just for the fun of it - this reader gave it a new life, because now I won't have any problem reading the files off the CF card (the camera doesn't take any other kind of memory card). Total bliss.
I tried the reader with the ubiquitous SD and microSD cards as well (there are separate slots for them). It worked perfectly. There are slots for several other kinds of cards too (the seller's page lists them).
Minor nice point: the reader has a pilot light to show that there is "access", i.e. it is connected to the computer (it is up to you to "unmount" or "mount" it in the file manager, of course).
I use the Ubuntu Linux operating system, but I tried it out on Windows too. It works on both without any problem.
Totally excellent little gadget and at a nearly give-away price.
The seller sent plenty of information concerning the order, great communication, very quick reaction. Superb purchasing experience.
