Birchwood Casey Gun Blueing Super Black Touch Up Pen - Flat Black

It works, but wont give you a factory finish

For small blemishes I'd recommend leaving it as is, even the flat black doesn't accurately match the factory finish on most milspec receivers. This pen will leave a slightly different, more reflective black. That being said, while it will be noticeable with good lighting or in a reflective environment it wont be as noticeable in a more dimly lit room or when looking at an angle. For small blemishes I'd hold off on this pen, for for deeper marks that expose what you might consider to be a distracting amount of uncovered aluminum you might consider this pen. Easy to use, cheap, effective to a point.
