Refurbished TomTom could end up being expensive! Maps very old! Maps pricey
I bought this product obviously to get around strange places. It calls out street names and shows proper lane position in advanced. You can buy into extra services like: gas prices; traffic camera warnings; and updated maps. It has live traffic updates. It will let you detour your route and go to points of interest along the way. The PROBLEM with buying a refurbished unit: TomTom considers the unit to be used. The maps are very old and TomTom will not even update to a more recent version of maps (not New) without paying for them. At least $45 USD. TomTom's policy was explained to me from their tech support that manufacturer refurbished means that it simply works and they want money to make it work for you. So if you think you going to get a refurbished unit that has all the updated software and maps ready to use out of the box, THINK AGAIN.

Violent pop in the bass speaker
Violent pop in the bass speaker. I was disappointed in that when I unboxed this thing it had so much packing nothing could harm it and it was sent that way. It sounds good at low volumes but I like to turn it up a little sometimes. It might be an internal electrical connection failing. Just disappointed.

Just what I needd
This kind of boot is for a CV shaft that is out of the car where the shaft will separate from the bearing. If you do not want to take the CV shaft out you need a split boot. This worked great for me because I had the whole CV shaft out.
