nice vaio laptop, with amazingly slow speed

I 've been using this notebook for the last two months. Yes, I can admit that it looks nice, feels cool, and the built quality is like with every vaio products, above average. The problem comes with vista, I haven't had the time to install something else. So i really wondered, why is this laptop extremely slow. I've been using vista before and it was slow, and crashed a lot, but it still worked. It just simply feels like that if you get the laptop out of the box, and try to use it you just wasting your time and crashing every 10 mins and doesn't do it's job. Your 4 years old old school p4 vaio desktop is 100 times faster. Hopefully a windows 7 will solve this problem, but the original factory settings just simply suck. I've been using other laptops with vista before, and they were definitely faster. So it might be only that vaio doesn't match with vista.. anyway the screen quality which supposed to be excellent with sony, it's weak.. can't compare with other sony displays.. if u buy it for 200 quid with some guarantee, i would say go for it but don't expect much (i don't know what's the fair price of the slowest vaio ever, but it's certainly cheap), if it's more, it's a waste of money.. extremely weak performance.. in a nice plastic box. vaio NR
