Paull Reps Prose Collection
I'm just getting started reading these short essays and texts by Paul Reps. I was aware of his poetry, zen koans, and ink painting brush wok, but I had not read any prose by him. I can see right away from the first essay in this book--that Reps was certainly a devout Buddhist but also a highly gifted communicator and artist. As with poems and aphorisms, he has his own style of prose writing, something of a signature style--and I am looking forward to reading slowly and attentively thorugh this collection of journals, essays, travelogues, and other short texts.
