Used Bargain.
Bought this product used. Blade needed sharpening up, but easy to do with a grinder/oil-stone. Chops up garden waste to the specified diameter with very little fuss, and rarely gets jammed. Great value and does its job well.

Useful, basic analyser
The MR100 is an uncased version of the SARK analyser. The device works well as a stand alone, but really much more useful when coupled with the available software, which allows various plots of antenna measurements to be displayed and printed. Can't speak for absolute accuracy as all available measuring methods give similar but not identical results. However, does give a good idea of what your antenna(s) are doing, especially if using anything with traps etc.
Quality of supplied perspex "case" , LCD display and connectors is OK, otherwise no bells or whistles with this one. But hey, what do you want for under 30 quid?

Good antenna BUT...
1 of 1 found this helpful Good quality parts and technical design spoiled by poor assembly. Transformer primary went short to earth after half an hour, killing transmitter finals. LW40 box difficult to open as everything is super-glued. Once inside, visible cut in transformer primary winding caused by sharp edge of earthing terminal pressing hard on it. Repaired as no point in not doing so once inside. Spoke with Sigma regarding possible design flaw - not very interested, didn't offer a replacement, said it had never happened before. So will buy elsewhere next time. Works well now it is repaired though.
