IPhone anemometer

I have to admit that I am impressed with this little anemometer. With the app download it is quite capable. I have several handheld stand alone units that are not even close to being as accurate as this one. I checked the accuracy against my large "tent" unit and it measured the same values. You open the app, plug the anemometer into the headphone jack and then select the parameters ( size and shape of vent) and then take your measurements. After about a minute it will stop and give you the average cfm or whatever measurement you programmed. We now have 2, mine and one everybody else uses. I am a senior hospital engineer and we use these to set building flow and pressures related to air handlers.

A biased review

First let me clarify that I was interested in watching this movie because it was filmed in Eugene Oregon (where I live) and the hospital shots were at Sacred Heart Hospital, also here. Although the movie was entertaining it was hard to follow the plot and characters for the first half of the movie. It was made up for as the ending is not what we expected. We did enjoy the movie ( not a blockbuster) but was worth watching.
