Entertaining Early F-16 cockpit
It is not the late version with FPDs everywhere but other than that, very complete. Unlike the companion F-104 cockpit, the ejector seat "eject" off its track. Build one long time ago and want to build a better. The instrument panels have very fine details that are easily obscured by paint. Nowadays, I would use washes as much as possible to give depth & contrast and make details stands out.

Home markets rules
Revell Germany has come out with a string of winners. Their value for money is unbeatable! I kept imagining that there is a core group of avid modeler in Germany that kept the enthusiasm at a high level. The level of detail the designers lavish on their German subjects put competitors to shame. In many way, Japan has a similar support system; Japanese subject are gets similar treatment. They have even built a building size miniature of the Yamato close to 100 ft long! American subject gets the knock off effect but a step behind.

Shuttle & Mir
I build a Heller 1/125 Mir space station long time ago. Painting it per photographs generated lots of compliments! Unfortunately, there is no 1/125 space shuttle. This purchase and one of the 1/144 space shuttle is for a diorama commemorating the rendezvous that is still a notable high point in manned space exploration.
