Jakar Paint Palettes
I have a couple of these now and would recommend them for the water colour artist. I have found that there is no beading and the paint sits well in the palettes. If left to dry out the paint is easily activated again with water. And when washed there is no staining to the palettes. They are in my opinion superior to plastic palettes.

Soap Nuts for the Win.
I have COPD and am very aware of smell, chemical smells affect my breathing. I started to use the soap nuts because of this, and have had no problems with it. I can breath, there is no chemical smell, and my clothes are clean. As a plus point is is environmentally friendly, a win win situation.

Small Porcelain Dasy Palette.
Vastly superior to any of the plastic palettes that I own. There was no beading of paint when I used it. I also have found it to be a useful size for painting outside.
