Canon 1403 Problem not solved
4 of 4 found this helpful Canon original print head was delivered in correct factory sealed foil type package. The part number matched and the look was correct. When offered to the printer for installing, it fitted quickly and easily. (In fact it was harder to take out the original print head.) However, the print head, when loaded with new ink cartridges, was still apparently causing error code 1403 ie incorrect print head. The printer is now to be scrapped and It is highly unlikely that I will trust Canon brand again.
