Faber-Castell are the worlds no 1 for a reason.

Quality speaks for itself. I have really enjoyed the freedom of expression with these pencils and rate them to be the best on the market. I have tried others at higher and lower prices but none gave the reliability these do time after time. Faber-Castell are the worlds no 1 for a reason.

Not easily disected

Although a lot of information is provided. I felt it a chore to register where or at what point I read what at what point within the book. Frank was not just a toy maker inventor and this book touches quite a few areas outside of the toys but perhaps should not have. I bought the book looking to further my understanding of his passion for tinplate railways, got part way through and realized I had in fact been reading a life and times of, not what I expected.

Could be a good longer term investment

This is so printed right now but offers some hope of being a good longer term investment product. Base set 3 as it is often called is not untrue but offers other rarities than the first and second base sets. Prices currently rising so act soon.
