It's great I love it just one question though

I'm a very vivid fan of these kinds of comics and I've been trying to get my hands on this for a while and I'm not disappointed, I was just wondering however, I noticed it's got some slight damage on the corners of the front sleeve, was this like that beforehand? Just out of curiosity
