2 x 16W High Level Brake Stop Light Car Bulb 955 12v

Do not fit our 2003 Citroen C3 High Level Brake Light

Sadly, although being the right specification for our car, and the same spec as the old one removed, these do not fit into the brake light housing. I tried both and they just will not fit in. The old one I removed slots in fine. Both the old bulb and the new ones have the same markings. I triple checked by calling our local Citroen main dealer and they confirmed these are the correct specification bulb. Wierd.
