"It's not the arrow nor the bow, but the archer"
I've been working for over ten years already in my studio. I've done some things for some people and of course, for myself and I must confess, my recordings, when it comes to acoustic guitars, vocals, drums and even brasses, I've done them with AKG microphones that never cost me more than $300. I have all the old Perception series: 100, 200 and this 400. Now I got the P420 and, I just love it. My point is, (and I learned it from my own experience and from some great advices from professionals in the music production field) of course you can have more expensive microphones and equipment but, in the end, it all comes up to the way you use whatever you have at hand. Try a lot, experiment a lot and make good use of your stuff regardless of the brand and the price. This AKG Perception 400 microphone is a great piece of equipment for any studio and it really does the job for a very low price.
So, it will always be up to the archer. ;)

The guitar of guitarists!
For almost thirty years I have been a Fender guy. About ten years ago, I bought my first Jackson Soloist guitar and I really loved it: great feeling and sound but, when I got this Ibanez a few weeks ago, then I realised why it is the choice of so many famous guitarists around the world. It's just amazing!
