Small and simple to use
I personally prefer the flanger sound compared to a phase shifter. I find the flanger to be more musical rather than just an effect. As usual the MXR product is a solid build, great value and quiet. It gives a subtle boost in volume which I appreciate since other pedals I've used can give an in your face boost that annoys me. You only have two knobs so it is super simple to use but gives you a wide range of color.
