Use Factory OEM parts of be warned!
the tailgate handle for this era of Sequoia is definitely a weak point. After having been through 3 aftermarket tailgate lift handles "better, because they're made from metal", I found this to be misleading. The metal in the handles actually bends faster than this hard ABS plastic will break. The original handle has a much better feel. The problem is when dust and grime build up in the cable and latch assembly, it requires much more force for the handle to pull the cable through. This is when these handles fail

Great phone all around, except for it's lousy memory! Needs more memory, at least AT&T version does. Camera is excellent,love the operating system.
