Good Rat Poison blocks
These rat poison blocks are easy to use in a suitable rat trap. It is best to thread them onto a metal rod so that they cannot be taken away whole from the trap. 15 blocks are the right amount to fill one rat trap so they are economical to use. If rats are around then I find that I need to refill the trap maybe 3 times so five bags is about right for 2 traps? Remember that the rats need to dine on these blocks for several days to be effective.

Genuine Miele Thermostat
A Genuine Miele Thermostat works out cheaper in the long run for me. I tried a copy part and it lasted 3 years. However, you must keep the machine free of fluff or it will overheat and the Thermostat will blow again, leading to an overhaul and another new Thermostat.

I am happy with this Mastech MS6013 Cap tester, so far
I have tested many of my capacitor stock and it has worked as expected. New caps are all close to values they should be and old caps are all over the place. For example, I tested a pair of 100uF RS electrolytic caps that are unused but made in the 70's and they showed 175uF... I might have used them thinking they were good? I think this will pay for itself many times over? The only -ve I have so far is that the holes, labelled "Cx" only work if I plug in a cap with eaqual length lead-outs and, as we know, the -ve lead-out is always shorter than the +ve one. I wish I had bought one of these years ago: if it means I rescue one reservoir cap then it will pay for itself immediately.
