250-001 Quick Change Turning Steel Facing CNC Lathe Tool Holder Post Tool
    12 Mar, 2023
Well made Gib based Tool holder tool post
This tool holder post uses the expanding Gib method of holder retention which offers a very secure non-slip self adjusting holder for the tool holders. This minimises chatter and allows a better finish than some cheaper holders. It has 2 fitting faces so holders can be fitted in all directions depending on tool orientation. Its construction is of well engineered steel with deep blue/black finish. It came with a base plate which was not needed for my "mini-lathe" I refitted the original tool post stud and level nut rather than use the plain hex nut supplied. All in all an easy fitting and satisfying addition to my lathe. I also purchased some 13mm steel tool holders (I noticed that the cheaper tool holders were made of aluminium which is a recipe for chatter and tool loosening) from another supplier which fitted perfectly and work really well.
Baby Boa Constrictor Strap Wrench Jar Lid Opener Undo Open
    16 Aug, 2024
Simple, easy to use tool for loosing lids, pipe joints which cannot be done by hand.
A simple, effective way of loosening tight plastic plumbing joints, jar lids and other tightly screwed items where you cannot use hard jawed tools which would mark the surface. If you have a difficult to hold item you may need 2, one on the lid and one on the body of the item operating against each other. Do not allow black band to become contaminated with grease, oil, or wax, as this will destroy it's gripping ability. Due to it's mostly plastic construction it may not be durable enough to be used intensively in a production process.
GENUINE MAIN OVEN DOOR SEAL FOR BRITANNIA RANGE COOKER
    23 Feb, 2017
    easy replacement oven seal
It took me 5 minutes to replace the seal! The new seal just popped in (after the old seal more or less fell apart) The only drawback was that there were no instructions, but with the six fixing hooks being the same and matching exactly the mounting holes in the oven it was a "No Brainer". My Britannia range main oven is now back in proper working order with no "heat leak". On the subject of this oven, I would caution against buying a "pattern replacement" circular fan element for this oven. The one I bought last year was advertised as a replacement but, a. the mounting brackets weren't in the same place and b. it was a higher wattage then the original. If I remember correctly the original is 2.2Kw where the new was 2.8Kw. not a lot of difference, but the extra heat energy meant that items cooked on fan oven setting could be slightly browned more near the back of the oven. The original gave a more even heat. Unfortunately the price difference was massive. So you pays your money and makes your choice. But I know what I'm going to do next time!
