Perfect fit and color

40 bucks for a hunk of plastic seems crazy but, hey, it's an Audi piece of plastic so there you have it. On the plus side, the fit is perfect and the color matches the surrounding trim beautifully. I'm very satisfied.

Quiet, audiophile-grade switcher

This device is a thing of beauty - functionally and sonically. Construction is robust, switches have good tactile feel and it is dead quiet. Works in both directions: 2-in/4-out and 4-in/2-out. As an example of what can be accomplished with this device, I have a turntable, a media server/DAC, two preamps and three power amps in my setup. I have two of these devices in my system: #1 allows me to share the turntable's phono stage and the DAC with either of the two preamps and #2 then allows me to use either of the two preamps with any one of the three power amps. My gear is all higher end and I have not been able to detect any sonic degradation. Highly recommended.
