A simple and inexpensive way to boost sound levels (no batteries required).
1 of 1 found this helpful Simple and effective in enhancing sound that is in front of you like a TV or music source. I would estimate that the sound boost is in the 10-15% range. Note that the sound boost is directional, and therefore expect a reduction in sound from sources that are on the side or from behind. Another nice feature is that the sound boost takes place in any direction you turn your head. So in group conversations, you benefit from a sound boots by simply facing the person(s) talking.
If you'd like to test the concept of how these work; simply cup you hands over each ear with the open part of the hand facing forward. You should notice an immediate difference. That's what I did. And after experiencing the improvement, began to see if there was a product designed to do the same thing. That's what brought me to getting Ear Glasses.
