Sharp, Fast, Tiny. Feature Packed ~50mm Lens.
I've only had it for a day, but have taken around 100 pics with it. I've used it mostly wide open and have to say, I find the image quality impressive. Equally impressive is the lens's size. It's tiny (but expected, it being a Q lens). Built in ND filter works well. Seems to have a sturdy build quality. I rather like the feel of the focusing ring. I also like that it can spin infinitely in either direction. A plus is that you cannot tell where it catches the mechanism that actually focus' the lens when turning it. It just turns smoothly into infinity while focusing and beyond. I also love the sound of the built-in shutter. Sounds reminiscent of an old film camera shutter. I have no real complaints.

Fun, decent quality, zoom fisheye.
Lens quality is on par with Pentax DA (non L) kit lenses. The only difference is it's heavier (probably because of the huge front element and metal built-in lens hood), and it focus' internally. I had never used a fisheye/ultrawide angle lens before this one, so I don't know what to look for comparatively regarding image quality. My eye thinks the IQ is great. There is some purple fringing towards the edges of the image, but I hear this is normal with fisheyes. It's also not hard to get rid of with computer software. A few things to keep in mind... Because of the built in hood, you cannot connect normal screw-on filters. Also to get the full effect of the fisheye, you need to get really close to your subject, like almost touching the glass close (luckily it lets you focus really close). The only problem with this is whatever you're shooting potentially touching the front of the lens. It's hard to tell distance to the lens because of the severe fisheye distortion, so be careful not to scratch your front element. Also, there is still quite a bit of distortion at 17mm. Lastly, at 10mm the distortion is so great, you can't de-fisheye the fisheye distortion. So don't think you can buy this for the fisheye effect and think you can just drop it an image in to your software to fix it into a non-fisheye ultra wide angle picture.

HTC HD2 (USA) Review
The phone is wonderful. Giant, beautiful screen. Super slim. Extra high quality build and feel. I'm a two-year iPhone user and this phone is wonderful enough to make leaving the iPhone easy. A note: Though this phone comes with Windows Mobile 6.5 (a.k.a. old crappy Windows Mobile), you can pretty easily install Android 2.2 on it. I did. I'm no genius. It's a phenomenal Android phone. It also runs flawless with Android installed on it. Just google "Android 2.2 on HD2". It won't be hard to find all the requisite links and tutorials on how to do it. The ONLY thing I wish the phone had is a hardware "silent mode/ring mode" switch like the both the iPhone and Motorola Cliq have above the volume rocker. It is a minuscule qualm though. I was just spoiled with the ability to kill the ringer with my phone in my pocket and not having to take it out to do so with a series of on-screen swipes.
