Compulsory reading for history buffs.

It's a very well written historical record of an often ignored event. The Brits always push Scott as the person who was first to the South Pole, but not so. Amundsen beat him by a month. The brother of my great grandmother (Ludvig Hansen) was one of the Fram's crew and maker of the soldered fuel tanks used on the polar expedition.
