screen dpi

cant see ahead far enough. needs a higher dpi screen. When you take a differant route than what it said then it recalculates but sometimes it wants to make a u-turn and go the other way for 40 or more miles, and then make a u-turn and go right back. this is my first gps so I dont know if they all do that!
