No more weekly vet visits
3 of 3 found this helpful I adopted a cat with a known history of struvite crystals and FLUTD. For years he was fine and suddenly (when we moved home) he became very withdrawn, struggled to use his litter tray, bled, tried urinating all over the house and had an upset stomach. For 2 years we were back and to the vets- then the last visit the vet suggested cystophan. We had him on 2 a day to begin with answer then reduced to 1 a day. His symptoms stopped. We moved house again - no issues. We did wean him off the cystophan but within a month he had another flare up. So back on the cystophan he went and (touch wood) he's been fine since. We now just keep him on one a day. Brilliant product with a happy cat and a happy owner :)
