Bought this so that I could watch Sky programmes on a second tv, which is in a upstairs bedroom, and still be able to control the Sky box which is downstairs in the lounge. This did the job perfectly. I used 10 metres of coaxial cable with gold plated connectors. Make sure that the connectors are fitted properly to the cable otherwise the signal might not get through from the sky box to the Tv link. Very happy with the function and quality of the device.
