The late Christopher Reeves' greatest performance!
Some people will argue with the title of my review, but in my heart & memory, there have been three films that are my favourites starring the late actor, Superman the Movie, Superman 2 & this one. I was trying for many years to get this & was finally sucessful most recently. Originally,I saw this on HBO back , it will be remembered for two things. The late Christopher Reeves' performance & the fact that days afterward the theatrical release, he would be paralysed for the rest of his life. The story is quite simple but very riveting. Dempsey Cain (Christopher Reeve) is a devoted husband, father & a great cop. Respected by most of his colleagues in the Police Department, he suffers a parylsing injury in the line of duty. Unfortunately, all the time prior to this incident, his wife & brother are having a torrid love affair! Trying to beat the odds of his condition, Dempsey plans to have himself killed with his wife & brother assisting him. Everything is planned perfectly, except unknown to his wife & brother, Dempsey knows the truth about their affair! What happens next is swift & brutal! I will not spoil this for anyone, get the dvd & enjoy it!

The World Was His!!!
Everyone has a take on this film. A 26 year old flick that mirrors the events of the present day. Some loved it, some hated it. I suggest you watch for the sheer acting abilities of all of the cast & of course, Al Pacino, who does a back-up job at everything he plays! If you are squeamish or easily offended by the material, please do yourself a favour, don't see it. The rest of if you do not have it in your library, get it while you can!!! One Pacino's finest performances in history.

They try to negotiate with the natives, that fails as they want nothing from them! They take drastic measures & a war ensues between both sides. A soldier, Jake Sully, who was sent to infiltrtate & win the confidence & trust of the Na'vi, switches sides after realising the devastation caused & what is yet to come! He becomes an icon to the Na'vi & all the tribes on Pandora come together to repel the invaders! & they get help from unlikely sources! No more spoilers! Just get it! Very highly recommended!
