Better than basic thermostat, a bit pricey though
2 of 3 found this helpful The only negative side besides being a little costly was the "learn" functionality. Based on how you adjust your settings in the first week or so, the Nest will automatically schedule increases/decreases in temp. This could cause it to unnecessarily change your temperature based on one day that you were feeling hot/cold. Easily fixable though. It's great having the heat/cool function instead of just heat or cool, as well as being able to access via smart phone. Makes it much easier than getting up out of bed in the middle of the night when you are cold!
