Beautiful and inspirational.
Another student on my class had made a beautiful embroidered book, using the patterns and ideas from this book. You need voile in a number of colours to get the lovely effects, but the rest is fairly simple embroidery stitches.

ideal for a cake
we wanted this for a cake topper. It had a pointy bit of plastic on its head, but it wasnt worth sending it back for that, so we filed it off.
