It works!!! You just need to know how to use it.
7 of 7 found this helpful So for anyone wondering yes this does work but it won't if you just plug it straight in. First of all your video output settings have to be changed to work. To do this you need to use the old video settings (which I don't have cables for) SO I DID IT BLIND!
Here is the way to do it blind:
Start up the PlayStation 2 without a game in it.
Wait about 20 seconds.
Press Down.
Press X.
Press Down three times.
Press X.
Press Left.
Press X.
