Ok for chutney
I bought this pan to replace my old aluminium preserving pans. I first used I'd for chutney and was impressed by the size however, some burnt to the bottom of the pan. Yesterday I made Marmalade and as it was heating up, I could see the edges of the pan going brown. The marmalade did not come to a rolling boil and at the end, there was burnt product all around the pot.
I am a very experience preserver and this has never happened with my old aluminium pans.
I can't be bothered with the hassle of returning the item so I'll just use it for chutney but would not recommend it
