From Guttenburg to Beethoven to Hitler, a perspective of a complicated nation, hence "Genius".
Peter Watson is a fine writer with impeccable credentials. His books generally dig deeply into the historical events of his subjects. He takes time to go back in time to review and explain what happened in the world, why it happened and how it might have easily been different in many ways. A brilliant thinker.

An important book, in pristine condition, at a reasonable price.
It's vital that this time in history is preserved and studied. One the one hand, it seems almost impossible that such things could happen. On the other hand, history is repeating right now, today.

Belongs on every bookshelf. Cheever is a superb writer of short fiction.
I bought this book for a very good price, so I knew it wouldn't be pristine. Indeed, it has evidence of being stored in a slightly damp environment or perhaps left in the sun, but the book is intact, the pages clean and readable, so I got my money's worth. All in all, a good value. Thanks.
