works as expected
Works exactly as original in my 2010 Estate.
Quite difficult to install, unlike the Saloon (of which there are plenty of videos), you have to remove all the interior trim on the inside of the tailgate. This will expose the 6 10mm bolts holding the exterior trim (the part with the switch and vauxhall badge), remove these and the entire thing will come off with a bit of jiggling, unplug the power block and place it on the floor (on a towel/cloth) this will allow access to the tailgate switch, just squeeze the two tabs together and it will push out, cut the wires to the old switch.
push the new one in and then strip 5mm sheath off the wires that connected to the old switch, insert these into the new pre-crimped joints on the new switch, if you dont have cable crimps just use some pliers to squeeze the sides until firm.
re-assemble, remember to re-plug in the power block!
Took me around an hour to do but most of that time was spent putting the interior trims back on, which have flimsy plastic clips (not related to this product at all!!!)

Excellent quality and value
Can't fault it, used to do multiple 90⁰ bends in 10mm heating copper pipes, very easy to use and made smooth bends every time
