Poor to no motion detection
3 of 3 found this helpful Received my new ring door bell, installation guide was easy to follow (been a Cctv engineer for 8 years) battery life seems good and the overall look of the device nice good, however the device I received, seems just to be a door bell with a camera the motion detection is only triggered when directly in front of the doorbell or movements about 1m away but only ever to the right hand side, I’ve tried numerous thing as in moving the ring and changing the angle up down left right, all of the things ring tech support told me to do with in the settings and still nothing, considering you can buy a full Cctv camera system for £200, I’d probably recommended that
